SOPA has been pulled but, 2 new bills were created instead. They are even worse. 

ACTA (Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement) forces other countries to enforce anti-counterfeiting laws, and will allow the country that holds the copyright to extradite the individual(s) involved to that country. However, this will allow governments to censor the internet, by taking down whatever they deem a threat to them by using ACTA as an umbrella to take sites down.

PCOPA (Protect Children from Online Pornographers Act) requires that the US government record and keep all internet histories from everyone in the US. They will record your name, address, IP address, and what websites you go to and store them for a 18 month period to review your history to see if illegal action can be taken against you. 

The Chris Dodd of the MPAA has been quoted saying: 
“Those who count on quote ‘Hollywood’ for support need to understand that this industry is watching very carefully who’s going to stand up for them when their job is at stake. Don’t ask me to write a check for you when you think your job is at risk and then don’t pay any attention to me when my job is at stake,”

No news media will report about these because the parent companies are the ones who wrote or paid off congress to do so!!! So now it’s our job to spread the word…
